Drywall questions, answered.
Can you match my texture?
Yes, in most cases. We match common Florida wall textures (knockdown and orange peel) by hand and blend the patch before paint. Older or custom textures may need a test patch, and we tell you up front if an exact match is not possible.
Do you paint after the patch?
Yes. We prime and paint the patch, the whole wall or the whole room. If you have leftover paint, we use it.
What if there's mold behind the wall?
If we find mold behind the drywall, we stop and show you. Larger mold jobs need a mold removal specialist, and we tell you that before any new drywall goes up.
Is my popcorn ceiling safe to remove?
It depends on the age of the home. Popcorn texture in homes built before the mid-1980s can contain asbestos, so we recommend a lab test before removal. If the test is clear, we scrape, patch and refinish the ceiling.
I'm not in Florida right now. Can you still do the work?
Yes. You don't need to be home. Leave us a key, and we send you photos of the work before and after, so you can see it from wherever you are.
